There’s more to Wales than rolling hills, rugged mountains and male voice choirs. There’s a wealth of homegrown produce and independent suppliers waiting to be discovered. To make this happen, we created a 30" TV ad launching Discover Delicious, the flag bearers of Welsh flavour.
The brief
Our role was to create a TV ad that would launch Discover Delicious Wales. As a new arrival on the foodie scene, we needed to establish who they were (independent Welsh food and drink producers), what they stood for (homegrown quality) and why you should choose them (need any more reasons?)
The thinking
Celebrity chefs, social media influencers, have-a-go-home-bakers. Every foodie loves a good provenance story. With our friends at agencyuk.com, we decided this tantilising tale should demonstrate the care and attention each artisan invested in their creation. So we got up close and personal.
The output
Based on the notion of handmade, we produced a 30" TV ad in Welsh and English, showcasing numerous artists and artisans engaged in their craft. We also created a series of individual stories and social cuts for online awareness and engagement.
